සාත්තුකිරීම කලාවකි - Nursing is an Art.

It was into the channel of nursing that Florence Nightingale poured the full strength of her nature. Every woman, she said, has sooner or later some human life dependent upon her skill as a nurse; and nursing, she insisted, was an art, nay, one of the finest of all arts. Here are her own words:
‘Nursing is an art, and if it is to be made an art, it requires as much devotion, as hard a preparation, as any painter’s or sculptor’s work. For what is having to do with dead canvas or cold marble compared with having to do with the living body, the temple of God’s Spirit?’
