    We are going to have an entertainment at our school next Wednesday, and I am sending you an invitation card.

    We shall have physical drill exercises, and after that there will be a concert in the main hall. A lady who is principal of a girls’ college in Kandy is going to give us a short lecture on how to keep well.

    Then we shall have tea all together. I want you to sit at our table. You will find many nice things which the girls have made themselves.
