කර්ම විභක්තිය මඟින් පෙන්වනුයේ, සකර්මක (කර්ම පදය සහිත) ක්‍රියාවක කර්මය යි.

එය (එම කර්ම පදය) සකර්මක ක්‍රියාවක කර්මපූරණය ද විය හැක.

උදාහරණ : - E.g. :

We have made him secretary.

They call her Pawani.

සමහර සකර්මක ක්‍රියා කර්ම පද දෙකක් ගනී. ප්‍රධාන කර්ම පදය හා අප්‍රධාන කර්ම පදය ලෙසිනි.

They sent me this book.

Will you teach me Sinhalese?

ඉහත වාක්‍ය 3 හි me යන්න අප්‍රධාන කර්ම පදය වන අතර truth, this book සහ Sinhalese ප්‍රධාන කර්ම පද වේ.
